Owned by Isaac Careye (F39) 1697 - 1757 of Vrangue Manor. Passed to his son, Thomas Careye (H4) 1723 - 1780

At Vrangue, lay a small building, long ago ruined which was named Carey's Folly, from which, it was said, that Thomas used to watch his labourers at work.
