In 1606, he remarried, Elizabeth de Carteret, daughter of Amias de Carteret, Seigneur of la Trinite, in Jersey, and Bailiff of Guernsey.
Their Grandson was Sir Edmund Andros, first English Governor of New York, Virginia.
