| Early scholar of Elizabeth College; sworn in as Jurat on 3 Oct 1603, obtained island charters from James I, King of England for the sum of £24; visited England again in 1613 to obtain permission from the King to obtain Canons for the church administration in Guernsey which was refused. Owned several properties on Guernsey, notably Le Mauxmarquis at St Andrews. He was buried at the Town Church on 9 December 1621. | ||||||||||||
